Upcoming construction of Walter Strevens Ramp link – info from Auckland Transport

Attached for the information of the Conifer Grove School and its community is a flyer regarding the impending start of works on an additional Walter Strevens Drive ramp link to the shared pedestrian/cycle path alongside the Southern Motorway between Takanini and Papakura interchanges that is nearing completion.

With the works occurring beside the only road into Conifer Grove, the works will be immediately apparent to all travelling across the Walter Strevens Drive overbridge.

We are expecting the pathway alongside the motorway to be completed and ready to open between late March and mid-April.

Tēna Koutou Katoa,

Tonight our Prime Minister announced that we are moving to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 from 11.59pm today.

Our school will be closed From Monday 15 February to Wednesday 17 February and students are encouraged to stay home. A skeleton staff will be onsite to supervise any students who do not have anyone at home to supervise them.

If you are unable to provide supervision for your child and want them to attend school from Monday, you must inform the School via this google form link. Please note, we will not accept any students if this form has not been filled out.
Under Alert Level 3, no other students, adults or visitors are permitted on the school site.

Our staff will be spending the next 3 days preparing for the possibility of online learning. Teachers will communicate with students once online learning has been prepared.

The school admin will remain in communication with our community through our Skool Loop app and email as further advice is received from the Ministries of Health and Education.
